Project Objective

​

- Study design documents, plan and perform initial site investigation.

​

- Perform a rapid static (leapfrog) survey to establish a ground control system with positioning and elevations surrounding the Student Services Building.

​

- Perform a Stationary Terrestrial Laser Scanning (STLS) for the exterior of the Student Services Building; a Mobile Terrestrial Laser Scanning (MTLS) for the interior of the Student Services Building and a UAV photogrammetry for the top of the Student Services Building.

 

- Create a Building Information Model (BIM) from design plans of various elements,  including but not limited to civil, structural, architectural.

 

- Compare analysis results from, MTLS, UAV photogrammetry and BIM model to STLS.  ​


- Create a 3D visualization of the Student Services Building, both design and As-built model to compare discrepancy.

​

-Digitize the Student Services Building for visualization and animation.

​
